Building societies account for over £30bn of publicly listed securities and private placements issued through a wide range of financial instruments, from covered bonds to junior capital. They form an important and highly regulated part of the financial infrastructure in the UK with a major share of the residential mortgage and savings market.

After the volatility of the last two years which saw the yields on CCDS, Tier 2 bonds and legacy PIBS move out into double figures, demand has returned with investors chasing yield on junior capital instruments.

Building on our experience with CCDS, Tier 2 and legacy PIBS issues, this webinar will look at the various instruments available to building societies on junior capital, the current appetite from investors and the indicative terms and pricing available to them.

Please join us to hear Allia C&C and guests present on the above, with the opportunity to ask questions at the end.

Speakers:

  • Adrian Bell, CEO, Allia C&C
  • Henrietta Podd and Ben Hall, Joint heads of funding, Allia C&C
  • Maurice Mills, CFO, Saffron Building Society
  • Beth Collet, Partner, Addleshaw Goddard
