This Autumn has seen success for a number of building societies in three recent Awards ceremonies, covering savings, excellence in business and personal finance.

Savings Champion Awards 2022

The Savings Champion Awards, announced in early December, acknowledge excellence in customer service, best buy rates and the promotion of competition in the savings market.

The sector performed well with success in the following categories:

Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards

Ecology Building Society was recognised once again at these awards which highlight the best in the region, winning the Environmental Sustainability Award.

The Money Pages Personal Finance Awards

The Personal Finance Awards are voted for by consumers, highlighting excellence in the personal finance market.  The winners were announced in late November and building society success in a wide range of categories served to demonstrate their purpose to provide a safe home for savings and help people buy or build a home of their own:
